Use that money for this essential service and stop looking for your comfort. Think of the Ghana first. There can be Ghana running without parliament but not for health workers. Burkina Faso is doing very well without parliamentarian but not for health personally. Think we'll, think right and act sensesibly

Few months ago, they didn't even have the courage to talk let alone negotiate for the so called conditions of service because the tyrant Akufo Addo will not tolerate such nonsense from these nonperforming nurses who through their stupidity and negligence many have lost their lives. They can only do this under NDC because they're too soft. They have become a tool in the hands of the politicians and soon they'll realise how stupid they are. This nonsense must stop.

The CoS was negotiated and duly signed by all the relevant bodies like Ministry of Health, Ministry of Finance , Ministry of Labour Relations and Fair Wages and Salaries Commission from the govt side and the GRNMA.
  And I m very certain during the Transition Period all these docs were handed over to the in coming NDC administration and when he Akando was swore in everything doc was made available to him, so why now telling us that it was not captured in the budget.

  3. Gargantuan salary and end of service payments to the following employees
  Bank of Ghana staff
  State owned enterprises
  Government Boards and other state agencies
  Note we are all employed by the state but some enjoy far better remuneration than others. They laugh all the way to the bank at the end of each month and at the end of their services to the state. This is real animal farm. There should be equity in remuneration in public service. I blame selfish Union leaders.

  You see the GRNMA president in a captured video in May 2024 was pleading with the nurses to hold on a strike since there was no money to pay because of financial difficulties facing the country at that time. You know this GRNMA president was married to a leading NPP guru hence no payment was initiated and no strike. GRNMA what has changed in May 2025 that demands strike?
  
  Illegality.....
  In the labour laws Nurses, Midwives, etc etc are considered essential service providers and they are not to strike but negotiate. Last week they boycotted a scheduled meeting when the head of fair wages, health minister, Finance Minister and labour commission were present. A court and labour commission have pronounced their actions illegal.
  
  Government Actions.....
  Their Condition of service was not captured in 2025 budget. Certain clauses need to be reviewed, e g. Government to pay for their licences etc etc. What about lawyers, pharmacist, doctors, teachers? etc etc. The issue is government paying for your licence and you use it to work in private hospitals (Locom) who benefits?
  
  Proposals.. ....
  Government should sack the striking GRNMA nembers and as an employer recruit those lingering in the house for 2 years now. Those who wants to work must reapply since the labour laws says their actions are illegal. Government will not be faulted.
