  The midwife deserves an award and elevation in position. If something untoward had happened during the delivery, people would have blamed the midwife. This is the caliber of nurses Ghana needs and not those who deserted their patients because government did not provide them with their unreasonable demands. If Ghanaians are honest with themselves, they will agree that the only professional civil servants that the past and present governments have taken measures to improve their salaries are nurses, doctors and teachers leaving out the rest of the civil servants .
