According to this article Hanna said the laws of Ghana prohibit foreigners from engaging in illegal mining activities, does it imply that locals can do it? At the same time other state agencies should go after the head of the snakes that own and are running these illegal operations. Why the delay in repeal of LI allowing mining in forests. The heavy metals pollution is slowly killing the people of Ghana without them knowing. In future there will be a lot of cancer and kidney failure cases.
