I agree completely with Afrikania Mission. And all this is because the Whiteman and the Arab man did a freakin fvcken good job on the mind of the African. Religio-cultural imperialism has eaten so deeply into our thinking that we even believe the Whiteman "brought" God to us. Oblivious of the fact that every culture has its own understanding and experience and concept of God we still hold on doggedly and stupidly to this foreign concept of God. The renaming or addition to the reinstatement of 1st July as national prayer day doesn't even make sense to me. The so-called prayer day has overshadowed the significance of the Republican status we achieved on that day. Then worst of all we excluded our own African Traditional Religion! Where then is the full and total independence we were supposed to have gained on 1st July?
Mahama must be guided with these religious stuff and charlatans who are swooning at his feet.

Why should we put foreign religions above our own ? Are foreign religions superior than our own? Is it true that salvation belongs to only moslems and Christians? Abraham,Moses,Job were they Christians, moslems? African traditional religion worships the God that Christians and moslems worship and must be given rhe respect and attention it deserves. Most Ghanaians wrongly believe that African traditional religion involves the worshipping of trees,stones,rivers,etc,etc. In African traditional religion the spirits of the dead become the intermediaries between God and the living. Why the discrimination against our traditional religion by the government? The point here is every powerful entity or individual can kill and heal. Even Pastors and Prophets can invoke the power of God Almighty to kill and heal. So get it straight that, those in the faith of Afrikan tradition can also kill and heal. The real traditionlist don't dabble in evil with their powers but they use it to heal and help people. They only strike when u cross the red line. Read the book of Acts 10:34-35 and u would realized that God Almighty is not partial and doesn't recognise race, gender, religion etc. All he considers is the one who fears him (God) and does what is right. So there are many people who are neither Christians nor Muslims but have fear for God and does only good and these are the people God knows.
