No, that's not the case! I have been in the sub-region where I was called to identify who were truly Ghanaians (in one country and had to travel to another for same).

Before then, what I noticed with Ghanaians is that, even though some young guys could be stupid to do crazy things in Ghana, the don't usually export the same behavior patterns outside the country. Those that behave badly rather do against fellow Ghanaians and bolt away.

In fact, I am not holding brief for bad boys, because I don't know everyone. Also, this is different from love and money scams in the West, where they don't directly face physical threat or danger of any kind.

On the other hand, I can swear that, during the period I refer to, about close to 80% of Nigerians (Men and women) I met held Ghana passports directly processed at the passport office in Ghana or elsewhere.
At a particular airport (in an Arab country) where I had security clearance, I had to teach the Police and security agents how to distinguish between Nigerians and Ghanaians.

This guy, until someone talked to him, I'd seriously doubt he is a Ghanaian. Ghanaians who live in Libya and other Maghrebi countries are so terrified by the brutality of Arabs they won't pull stunts like this.

Ghanaians in the nearby Togo, Ivory Coast or Nigeria can't even think of things like this, let alone in Maghreb!
