This sad episode isnt the first, the last and end of such officers who are the bad nuts within the police force. How can such an officer resist an offer of a bottle of our local gin ( take it even a ¹/⁴ bottle) from armed robbers to use his service gun for the night if he was one of the WW1 guns. He will fall for the bait. This character isnt one of those to be sent to the rehab centre and reassigned back into the service. He will not be able to even make a cup of tea for the inspector or pound fufu for the station prisoners. He needs help for this chronic drinking issue but not fit to serve back in the serve. He will be a good candidate for the new NPP institution to enrol as polling station agent.
