  selling of cooked foods in plastic bags must be indeed banned in Ghana. In fact it is about time the Government put laws and policies to bann the use of plastic bags in Ghana to save our planet and protect our lives as plastic bags possess a treat to all living beings ( humans, animals both on the land and in our water bodies. Growing up in the mid 1970's waakye, red red and beans were served in plantain leaves. Plantain leaves are bio degradable but plastic bags not, burning plastic bags pollute the air and health problems when inhaled.
