Apparently the excavators were NOT MOVED to the Police Station.
When the excavators were discovered in the forest mining site, they remained there bcos they didn't have lowbed to move them, and the Police were also aware.
When they returned to the forest mining site the following day, it was then they discovered that 33 of the 40 excavators had been removed, leaving 7.

So technically the excavators were NOT MOVED INTO POLICE CUSTODY. They remained in the forest.

So then the Police should have deployed officers to
watch over and secure the excavators in the forest. This was not done.This is where the commander was faulted by Dr. Hannah Bissiw-Kotei.
