Professor Nyarko, u are 100% right about the regular check ups but at the same time how could people do regular check ups when our healthcare infrastructure are completely in shambles..I feel sad and disheartened how Ghanaia ...

Professor Nyarko, u are 100% right about the regular check ups but at the same time how could people do regular check ups when our healthcare infrastructure are completely in shambles..I feel sad and disheartened how Ghanaians die so young..it’s very sad development..Ghanaians both rich and poor die so young because of poor healthcare infrastructure..nurses are not paid well, healthcare infrastructures are in complete shambles..the whole healthcare in Ghana is just a death trap..this is why for many years, I have been advocating for a standard healthcare infrastructure..personally if u are a politician and u come and build a factory without a standard hospital where people can go when they are sick, I will equally see u as a mad person..so when the person is working and he gets sick, where do u want the person to go? Man Taya for explanation..Ghanaian politicians don’t know what they are doing

I think I need to explain what standard healthcare infrastructure and affordability is..so president Mahama built UGMC-university of Ghana medical center..so as a country, atleast that should be our standard when it comes to healthcare delivery..Ghanaians shouldn’t come to Accra before they can have access to a hospital like UGMC..by now, there should have been a similar structures in the Ashanti region, Western region, central region, northern region, all the 16 regions shoyld Atleast have similar healthcare infrastructure..in short we need to set a standard for our healthcare..then u come to affordability, that’s the insurance aspect where Ghanaians can use their insurance to go to this healthcare centers with ease just as president kuffuor did..personally with this poor healthcare infrastructure’s, even if u give someone free insurance, it’s still not going to help..we need to have a standard healthcare system, where every Ghanaian regardless of where they are located in Ghana could have access to a better and standard hospitals..it could also serve as a medical tourism where our neighbors from other African countries could come as there are no good healthcare systems in the west African sub regions..it’s an opportunity for the govt to grab
