Just have the goods seized and Auctioned . Have the owners arrested , charged and heavy custodial sentences slapped if found guilty.

This is where the government is losing huge sums of revenue and it has been the commonest feature with the Transit Goods Regime. Goods meant for home consumption are fraudulently described as transit goods meant for Burkins Faso.They are then off-loaded in Ghana and sold without duty payment . Such criminal evasion of duties can never take place without the complicity of customs officers and clearing agents.The government must wake up and punish severely those whose activities undermine revenue collection and are caught doing it. They are the enemies of Ghana.

What kind of security intelligence is this?
Te drivers can easily deny since the news says their destination is Burkina Faso they can also maintain that because there was no evidence of them offloading since they were picked up at nkawkaw.
