The fuel allowance is different from fuel allocation. They're not going to buy fuel out-of-pocket for their official vehicles which are allowed to run (I was told) due to security reasons. So that vehicles are ready to get them whisked away incase of any security threat. I think fuel allowance is for their one private vehicles. At the end of the day, they still going to use their official vehicles for their personal errands at the states cost. It's good to scrap it, but I hope they don't recupe it back to their pockets by another means.

Mahama is pulling a fast trick on Ghanaians when he and all his appointees drive in expensive luxurious cars that don't use petrol. "Withdrawal of petrol coupons" means replacement of fuel consuming cars with electric cars. The taxpayers continue to pay the heavy bills.

The finance minister read the budget before this scraping bullshit from Mahama came in, so, why do you believe this propaganda? If the subsidy should be withdrawn, who should have done that? Remember that the monies for various ministries have been deposited in their accounts already so, why don't you believe that Mahama is just spitting propaganda.

It is the finance minister who should come up and tell Ghanaians that he had withdrawn fuel subsidies from government appointees because the monies have been deposited into their accounts already so, Mahama and his NDC fools are just playing tricks with their usual forgetful Ghanaians which I am not included.
