  If that’s the case, why do u allow the illegal Abokyi men to exchange foreign currencies( dollar, pounds, euros, CFA ) in an open market even tough they don’t pay taxes and it’s illegal ..don’t u think it’s about time u clamp down on these illegal black market men who controls the dollar in Ghana? Chai..stop the black market now because it’s also directly or indirectly affecting the strength of the cedi..let everything about money transactions be legal..anything illegal about cedi transactions should be stopped completely

All black market dealers must also be arrested and sentence into prison for not less than 15 years, they are nation wreckers.

  That is a stupid comment from the BOG . Cedi is the only legal tender in Ghana and the bank of Ghana should make it a crime for Ghanaians to trade within the country with another currency. Simply telling businesses to reject dollars is just a childish statement. Ghanaians have the right to report any body who demands dollars to transact business within the country to the authorities.
