Beware of people who are only interested in you because they see you as a resource not as a person. They value you as a bank, a charity, a person they can run to for free handouts or grants. They are not interested in you as a person. How you are doing. Once there is a a sign that you may no longer be valuable in this respect you stop hearing from them.
I heard from a friend who told me how another friend cut her family off after decades of supporting them. This lady had from habit supported her parents while they were alive, paid for her sisters wedding, paid the school fees of numerous nieces and nephews (even on one occasion, postponing the purchase of a bike for her own son to use for work in order to meet some relative's need in Ghana). Then Covid arrived and she was hit bad but recovered after a long hospitalization of several months. She sent word to relatives to Ghana for prayers. Only two or so contacted her children back or showed any interest or sympathy and even then only for a a few weeks. She never heard from them again. She made a full recovery and was able to revive her business. She visited Ghana 2 years after her illness and was shocked to find relatives shunning and avoiding her with some whispers about her illness. She returned back to North America a completely changed person. According to my friend it was during this visit to Ghana that this lady discovered the true nature of her relationship with her supposed relatives- SHE WAS JUST A RESOURCE. THIS WAS A TRULY SHOCKING EYE OPENER. She discovered to her dismay that they did not want or care about her as a person. She has now scrapped her plans to retire back to Ghana ,which in my opinion is a good thing considering the fact that all her children (her real family) were born abroad and one of them is already settled with family and the rest are not that familiar with Ghana. HOME IS WHERE THOSE THAT LOVE YOU ARE. She has now changed her phone number and blocked all her relatives on her phone and social media with the exception of a very few.

1. The pastor sent should have declared all he got from the journey. Obviously, the Bishop wouldn't demand all of it.

2. I see some form of haste among ministers.

The man gave 10 percent of whatever he got to the Archbishop and he was still not satisfied? How greedy the Archbishop is. After all, it was his gift to the Archbishop. Unless, may be per the agreement with the Archbishop, he was supposed to declare everything other than that I see nothing wrong with the man's actions. I will say that he was wrong if he declared 10,000 dollars as everything that he got from the trip. In that case,he can be compared to Ananias and Saphira.
