Don't our political parties fill that institution with their boys when they come to power as well as leave with them? If ammo was given them but cannot be traced after some people left, should we not know.
Even in the US security info goes out including their latest high tech weapons though they are in an arms race with Russia and China

Nana addo has succeeded in filling the security services with his vigilante criminals and they are aiding to commit these crimes. The NDC must be very serious about the security of the country. The pigs must never be trusted. They still cannot reconcile the fact that they have lost the elections and will like to do anything to come back even if it means stealing military grade weapons to do that.

All that the public needs to know is that there was a breach, and that breach has been dealt with. That way the public retains its trust in our security architecture. Now that you have informed the public of on-going investigations on 2024 and 2025 thefts of ammunition, how long must the public wait to receive assurances that the culprits have been found, who they are, and how they have been dealt with? If after a long wait the matters are not resolved; and the mere fact that such thefts can occur, won't these suggest to the public incompetence in our security apparatus? As someone said, security matters are not matters of propaganda. We should always remember that there are foreign threats whose intelligence draws conclusion from such reckless disclosures of weaknesses in our national security. People with no sense of security matters must not be appointed to such positions.

This is a very serious matter that if not dealt with could pose security problems for the country. Not all ministerial appointments should go to civilians . The minister of defense should have been a seasoned retired military officer. Just like you appoint a seasoned financial expert as a finance minister , same should apply to certain ministries. We have so many square pegs in round holes and this must stop . Appoint ministers who have backgrounds in the ministries that they head . That is the reason why Ghana is lacking in some areas.
