Wrong is wrong no matter the angle one looks at it. Suspension holding till when and what about those who have had their property pulled down? If the Suspension is to allow residents to evacuate or ultimatum given to them, then it's understandable but it shouldn't be a situation where the rest will remain there for years on end and the excuse is given that authorities are on it or are looking into it. If it happens that way then those whose property were demolished have not been treated fairly.

A waive of standing ordinances to allow people to build where they are not to do so is the same as waiving laws on crime or disrespect of institutions of state. Those indigens claiming to need their land live in Ghana and are not independent nations unto themselves.

The indigens of Accra systematically sold their lands and became the micro minority on their own land. Osu RE used to be Ga community along with Teshie, Nungua, la and etc. but land owners and chiefs sold their land to Lebanese and foreign interest and now want to break the laws of the state? I say hell no.

What else do we lack if the sale of that site cannot be demarcation as illegal. Henceforth let the lands commission have a TV or radio programs even a TV channel to educate the general.public on land sales, illegal sites, legal sites in the country. Establish website and show the entire country landmark and woth clear demarcation of illegal sites, no go areas, forest reserves etc. Lands commission should be faulted heavily on this. After how many years of existence we are still having conflicts due to hungry and wicked land owners who behave as if they are above the law when it comes to land sales. Ghana should wake up and prosecute this same land owners selling plots of land to forcing nationals who dont have the right to won land in the first place. Shameful.
