So put some damn respect on hers.

You can't believe it because her light blinds you, your mediocre heroes can’t even match her shadow. Osono Maame refused to appoint her to the High Court for two solid years, even had the audacity to ask her to resign over health reasons and elevated her juniors above her. Well, guess what? Out of that pain, she went back to school and demolished every record the school ever had.

Now here we are. She stood tal and left your camp in total disgrace. You’re in pains? Good. Cry harder. Because nothing you say can wash off the shame she’s heaped on your entire lot

Let’s lay the blame where it squarely belongs, on Osono Maame, the worst Chief Justice in Ghana’s history.

Just like she did to the Court of Appeal judges, personally writing to the President to recommend her favourites (her “pets”) for appointment to the Supreme Court, she pulled a similar stunt at the High Court level. There, where the Judicial Council is supposed to independently vet applicants for promotion, she wielded unchecked influence and made sure this particular judge was never even invited for the interview, for two whole years. She didn’t reject her. She erased her.

Worse, she asked her to resign under the guise of health concerns, while fast-tracking her juniors to the High Court, those very juniors now sit as her seniors.

In the face of this cruel exclusion, the judge didn’t break. She pivoted. Out of sheer pain, she went back to school, not to prove a point, but to survive the depression that comes with injustice. And what did she do there? She didn’t just graduate, she shattered records with a GPA no one else has ever touched.

So when the dust settles and you’re asking what happened to such brilliance, know this: the one who held the knife is Osono Maame.
