Ghana has qualified people in each field to head all the respective ministries . What logic is there to appoint an engineer as much minister of finance, a medical doctor as minister for roads and highways . It does not just make sense.

How can a medical doctor be appointed a minister for roads when there are qualified engineers around . The problem with Ghana is we have too many square pegs in round holes . This must change . The fact that this practice has been going on for years does not mean that it cannot be changed. Let’s start appointing ministers to ministries that they have knowledge about.

What is this. And we will always be quick to defend anything. How can this guy support or advise his boss who himself is another novice in this field. The appointment was a wrong one and if the president really means well, he must change it immediately. Jerry himself isn’t that technical that is why he couldn’t ask him any technical question but this very basic one. Can you imagine the level of embarrassment if someone had gone a bit deeper to ask him questions about cybersecurity or AI or telecommunications ? We are not safe my guy. Let’s be serious.
