  Unfortunately, politics will not allow us to write down accurate historical events. Since Rawlings’ time, ethnic nationalism is on the rise with some claiming they are better than others. This also means that if they are not part of the narrative, they discount it and throw in their own inaccurate stories, further dividing the country. The country must come together and form a non political, nonpartisan, honest and well informed people who will explore our history and the bring the stories out of them. We have a beautiful story to tell but politics is hindering us. This is why people have different versions of the truth. Let’s do this for our children.
