Ghanaians have still not forgotten that John Mahama did not do well in road construction in his 1st term. The few roads he did were over-valued by their govt.They pocketed the monies for these inflated priced roads.

Ghana mined and exported the diamonds in the Eastern Region (Akwatia). The tarred roads that Ghana constructed with the foreign exchange earnings from the diamonds had been washed away by the rains.
Same thing is going on with our gold and our roads.
WHEN SHALL GHANA HAVE ROADS THAT CAN WITHSTAND THE RAINS?
1.We have Ghana Highways.
2. We have Ghana Soil Research Institute.
3. We have Ghana Road Research Institute.
From 1957 to 2025 (68 years): Every constituency in Ghana has the same story to tell about its roads: The same as it was in the beginning. Construction and reconstruction. Surfacing and resurfacing.
As for the railroads we can only say: " Once upon a time Gold Coast gave railroads to Ghana which Ghana used until the railroads became unusable and Ghana abandoned them."
