Is there any difference between mothers who die in labour and thieving politicians who meet their untimely deaths by any means whether through error or otherwise?

Politicians should take a look at our demeaning health centres and put themselves in the place of poor and helpless patients who are treated like rags by some tired and unruly doctors, nurses and other health professionals.

The general malaise in the country's political system and the malfunctioning economy sometimes move the masses to jubilate when any misfortune befalls the political class and you cannot blame the people for this.

The fact is that, the blood that was running through the veins of the victims of the helicopter crash cannot be more sacrosanct and precious than the blood of the 16 innocent children who perished through a similar painful accident on the Kumase to Accra road.

We're not heartless and indifferent to the suffering of those in pains but we must be honest and truthful in every situation and treat every citizen equal and fair before the law.
