Most clergy were linked to the governance of the country as pillars so to speak or as it were.
Because they were faithful to GOD’s WORD HIS hands were upon them and the nation therefore is great today and not only that the leading superpower in the whole world today.
For all these prophecies with reference to the recent helicopter crash, some might be true but others might not be. And so the Bible says prophecy is about speaking God’s truth and the future in the church is very important.
There is nothing wrong with speaking in prophecy; it becomes wrong when people are out there giving wrong prophetic messages.
The following points should be noted in prophecy:
1/ should not contradict what God has previously revealed.
2/ should exalt and uplift JESUS CHRIST.
3/ a prophet’s life must be consistent with prophecy he/ gives.
4/ should be tested and if true should not be despised.
5/ Is it Biblical?
6/ Is there a witness of the Holy Spirit that this true?
7/ Is it confirming of what is already heard or known?
8/ any sense of unease about this?
We should be very happy that His Excellency John Mahama being a Christian is doing all he can to apply Christian principles to govern the nation.
Some of us believe he is an upright man seeking the will of GOD for the country and the people of Ghana in its entirety.
Please let us continue to pray for the peace of our nation not forgetting our president and His cabinet ministers and those who are in the system working hard to support Him succeed. When he succeeds Ghana also succeeds.

The concert in Africa has been excessive; this, perhaps, is why the continent still struggles in certain areas. Some who claim to be educated nevertheless use the Church as a platform to spread falsehoods, even in the presence of the most intelligent in the nation. Many people are mourning those who have been lost, yet there appears to be no consideration for how lives have been cut short and how families are grieving. Instead, we hear the same empty statements repeatedly.

GhanaWeb ought to refrain from publishing such material, as it adds nothing of value to national discourse, despite claims of prophecy. When will these individuals realise that many Ghanaians do not take them seriously? No one in the country or on the continent is actually hearing from God if they have not been called by Him. True prophecy does not arise casually — it comes through holy and principled living.

Owusu Bempah, for instance, is known for cursing people and performing questionable rituals in his church, and yet claims to hear from God. This behaviour is deeply inconsistent with the prophetic calling. Such conduct should cease in Ghana. If GhanaWeb stopped promoting these messages, it would contribute to national happiness.

In the Bible, prophets heard directly from God and what they spoke came to pass immediately. Even Joshua, who was not a prophet, spoke to the sun and moon, and they obeyed. Death is a natural part of life — when one’s time comes, nothing can prevent it. True prophets do not focus exclusively on death and accidents.
