Just relishing the pomp and pageantry of a ride in a motorcade to the Flagstaff House for another photo opportunity at the press conference with the chief of staff? Why couldn't they immediately mobilise the so-called special forces (whose only job seems to be rappelling onto the parade grounds from huge helicopters) for deployment into the forest to secure and salvage the wreckage? What is the use of their training? Just to show off at parades? As it takes less than an hour to fly to the obuasi forest, wouldn't these lazy foodians have reached that forest at least just a little later than the patriotic first-responding-villagers? The armed forces has been reduced to a useless salary-giving-institution. SHAAAAAAAME. This is not the armed forces of even as recently as 1988. SHAME again. This is so so shameful. Sack those useless service commanders. Check out how ECOMOG was conceived and implemented. Check out the then service commanders and see how proactive they were. Shame. Aaah.
