And they will do this even to friends and blood relatives. ONLY A VERY FEW DISCERNING GHANAIANS RECOGNISE THE ETERNAL TRUTH THAT THE ONLY SURE PATH TO TRUE AND ENDURING WEALTH OR RICHES IS THROUGH THE PATH OF HONESTY (INTEGRITY), HARD WORK, SACRIFICE, FRUGALITY, DELAYED GRATIFICATION, DISCIPLINE AND ABOVE ALL FEAR AND REVERERENCE FOR GOD. WEALTH ACQUIRED THIS WAY WILL ALWAYS HAVE THE STAMP OF GOD'S APPROVAL. Most cheats liars and scammers only discover rather too late that the "easy" or "smart" path of dishonest gain they chose to follow led them inevitably to some serious losses LATER.I have lived long enough to see this happen time and again. Over the decades I have watched many people who scammed others ,cheated others ,elbowed others aside to take their place, lied and manipulated their way to the top end up suffering catastrophic losses years later. These losses took many forms- wealth, health, emotional, marital etc etc. What they gained dishonestly one way disappeared rapidly another way sometimes only after many years later, often they needed help the most. CHEATING OTHERS IS LIKE POURING WATER INTO A BUCKET WITH HOLES. EVENTUALLY EVERYTHING LEAKS AWAY AND YOU ARE LEFT HOLDING AND EMPTY BUCKET FULL OF HOLES.
If you are guilty of this(and most of us are guilty of this to some degree at some stage in our life) then once we recognise this sin or wickedness we must ask for God's forgiveness and make reparations where this is possible and begin to live righteous lives. THE VERY GOOD NEWS IS THAT A MERCIFUL GOD CAN GIVE AS A CLEAN START EVEN IF WE ARE GUILTY OF THIS. We may end up like Jacob in the Bible with a "limp" but we would have gained favour with a merciful GOD WHO GIVES A REPENTANT AND CONTRITE HEART A SECOND CHANCE.
