Since we don't have the capacity to do large scale mining our only alternative is to do mainly small scale mining. Small scale does not automatically mean illegal. If some illegal miners are poisoning our waters then shoot to kill or whatever it takes to stop them from poisoning us literally. But to ban all small scale mining in a blanket manner and continue to hand our resources to foreigners is just pure madness. Regulate, monitor and enforce small scale mining laws and ban foreign companies from looting us.

If concessions are given, we can use GPS to mark it and anytime a satellite to passes an areas that have mining activities going there and the AI will compare it with the coordinates of the land that have authority to be mined on and if it says no permit has been given to mine within those GPS coordinates you send a military drone to bomb the hell out of them.

Why are these legal and illegal small scale miners not interested in the reclamation of their senseless mining activities but are only interested in destroying forest reserves for gold? If drastic actions are not taken to prevent the destruction of our forest reserves with excavators, very soon there will be no forest reserves left in Ghana because the only aim of these miners is to destroy our forest reserves for gold and nothing else. There's no reclamation of degraded forests by these senseless gold miners in Ghana

Will you make the same silly excuse for cattle herders that they're having a hard time finding places for their cattle graze, hence they have no excuse but to trespass on others' farms with their cattle to graze there while those cattle destroy crops in the farms? If these criminals can engage in mining, what then is keeping them from trying to obtain licenses that will permit them to legally engage in mining? And if you argue that they can't meet the requirements for mining licenses, then will you support the idea of those who are denied entry into the Police service or military service to just go ahead and engage illegally in Police or military activities?
