What will it cost to fly a 5 man team of paratroopers from the parachute regiment , less than an 1hr away with body bags. Put the bodies (heated cold or frozen)

Once the victims were burnt and dead there was no emergency at that time. The Army could have provided guard duties overnight for the so called heated bodies to cool off and then put in the body bags in the morning to give them some honor.

Secondly, there was no need to rush already burned bodies from the accident scene. This was no longer an emergency unlike a seriously injured person. GAF, local police, and local political leadership simply failed the test. The more they talk, the more they make more mess of an already bad situation. It may be time to fire the person in charge of Northern Command, the District Police Commander, and the District Chief Executive. This was a pathetic and shameful picture which adds more trauma on the victims’ families.

Nowhere in Europe, America, or Asia are jute sacks used to convey victims of fires, aircraft disasters, or wars just because jute fibers may conduct heat better than polythene bags. There are various types of body bags in use depending on the circumstances and not one universal standard. Even during the Vietnam war 50+ years ago, heavy-duty black rubberized fabric was used. Our armed forces should have known better and acquired suitable body bags for use. As other commenters have pointed out the CDS’s arguments don’t wash for various reasons.
If you have superior knowledge or arguments, present them in the context of a teachable moment, and not as an opportunity to belittle and insult.

I think the service commanders should have acted proactively to deploy a rapid response team like those so-called special forces who rappel from hovering helicopters during independence parades, to rappel into the forest. So what is the use of their training? Since we all know that paratroopers might get stuck in the trees, they could have landed on the nearest park and continued into the forest. We wouldn't have to wait for paratroopers from Tamale since now every soldier has a para wrong, especially the officers. Please, find out and see the rapidity with which the then Ghana service commanders (not Nigerians) responded to creating ECOMOG in the late 80s, leading to their nomination of Gen Arnold Quainoo as the maiden force commander. Infact, this is too disgraceful. All these are coming at the time when I'm wondering the use of our JUNGLE Warfare school where soldiers train to become rangers, yet, galamseyers are having a fields day in our JUNGLES. Very shameful. Please, the GAF should redeem itself. The GAF has seen better times. The action some of us witnessed in the barracks as children during the 1979 and 1981 coups, and other abortive coups convinces us that Ghana soldiers of today don't cut it. Truth is hard to swallow.

This has exposed that the Ghana Armed Forces only 10 paratroopers are trained only for senseless show on independence day, every 7th March.

Apart from water there are also other means to prevent the bodies from further burning.
I am sure that the military man did not say that.
