The word Cadre or Comrade means fellow freedom fighter.That word is very deceptive and offensive to many in the country that introduced it.The current generation of Russians hate hearing those words. They felt the masses were deceived and cheated by their leaders during their revolution. Children of the leaders of the Russian revolution, are now occupying big positions in their current govt and also part of the wealthy ppl (Oligarchs).The children of the masses (Cadres or Comrades) are still poorer. I therefore do not under why NDC deceptively is encouraging the use of those words in Ghana,bcoz we have a similar story to tell..NDC shd there4 stop using those words, they are offending many Ghanaians.
