I remember when Abosokai reduced their prices in Akufo Addo’s time although they did nothing to stabilize the economy. It’s obvious they want to sabotage the NDC government. Akans are the biggest problem of this country

Ghana will s a free market economy and no one can force price controls in the market. If the economy is stable, naturally prices of goods and services will fall.

He isn't even explaining the situation well. People with new imports are looking at the market situation and either refusing to reduce prices or instead increasing prices because people with old stock are not reducing prices. ...

The fact is once the cedi has fallen People will loose nothing reducing prices of old stock because to replace them they will need fewer cedis than before to buy the same volume of dollars.

The nigerian traders sell substandard products at relatively cheap prices, that is no competition but fraud and bad faith style of trade. That's why goods are cheaper in nigeria cos they're of low quality.

Because of politics, prices are left for distributers/sellers to extort the final consumer whiles the government looks on unconcerned because those in the hierachy of decision making get almost everything for free with fat salaries, so they're ultimately not bothered and concerned. Wicked bunch of useless politicians and traders.
