Why are all these political organisations asking the government to stop galamsey rather than talking to those who anre actually doing the business? Governments have limited powers and can’t stop it until Ghanaians change their behaviours and attitudes towards it. Do you expect the government to go and kill all those involved? These are mostly criminal organisations and having powerful people behind them. Stop your politics and educate people on the need to stop galamsey. I just wonder why Akufo Addo didn’t stop it.

The Galamsey will not stop with this Gold board set up by the NDC government, where are they going to buy the gold from. The multi national Gold mines will not sell their gold to the gold board they take their gold abroad to sell it of which the government is aware of that. The only option is to buy the gold from the Galamsey operators so how can it stop. This is simple to understand they can’t fight Galamsey no way as long as they are desperate to buy gold for the gold board.
