Mr. MP, don’t tell any lies. Uncle Sam has not gone back to any Capital Punishment nonsense in their schools. I have been a Lecturer and Teacher in Uncle Sam’s country and any such thing does not exist to the best of my knowledge. It will be the most stupid thing to do in the American Educational System.
Do you know that American students secretly and illegally carry Guns to school and use them on each other and their Teachers. As a result of that and other stupidities that students carry out in school, we have Armed Police officers in our schools. Some are also secretly armed. So if there should be Capital Punishment, who will take the risk to carry them out among students who can be secretly armed with High Powered Pistols, and sometimes with Assault Rifles and are ready to use them against fellow students, Teachers, and Staff? Nobody will want to do that.
Our society has become advanced and civilized so we don’t need Capital Punishments. Counseling and suspension from schools can do. In very violent and dangerous situations, yes, let us send them to Police or Prison Jails.

I don't think Japan has abolished Corporal Punishment in secondary schools yet. A country with very high standard of discipline amongst both adults and children. Lying is abhorred like cancer.
GES would need to streamline measures and stop sparing the rod to spoiling the child, and bring back the cane into JSS n SHS with the Blue Book into which such actions are recorded.

I agree with you when you say we copy wrongly. The democracy that made you an MP is one of the things we wrongly copied. Because of democracy people who cannot think for themselves are thinking for the nation. We would have been better than our current situation in we had sat down and curve something from our Chieftaincy practices. MP, if you don't know let me tell you. Most of the stubborn people you see in the society are those brought up under corporal punishment - just look around.

No law has been brought back to allow the
physical punishment (corporal punishment) of school kids in America.
