There are far too many exams for Ghanaians kids b4 they get to university ,this is the reason why they cheat.It's the main reason why the standards are dropping.BECE,WASSCE & Boarding housing shd be taken out .

That is not true. At a time ago, Ghanaian students wrote the Common Entrance, GCE Ordinary and Advanced level and had to have before they attended the University. That was when Students were studies and studied at home with their Lanterns and Hurricane Lamps. Those days, students studied very hard and did not cheat in their exams. The situation changed when Efo introduced the JSS and Wholesale Pass was required from the Schools and WAEC by Efo. I was a Teacher and an Examiner with WAEC at the same time. Markers were encouraged to pass students even if they failed. Can we compare the standards of Education in Ghana in the 60s, 70s and early 80s to what we have now? No, they can’t be compared.

These children children we call our future leaders are learning from our current leaders. Our politicians have no moral rights to condemn school kids cheating in exams.
As a parent, it is suicidal to allow your children to cheat in exams. It's like using a borrowed shoes, it could be either too tight or too loose. I never allowed my kids to cheat in exams, today I am reaping the benefits. It's always better to get 20% in exams the get 90% by cheating!

Although my boy provided the correct index it keeps saying incorrect index. Don't really know what's going on but some kids actually learned their ass off to write the exams and just straight up cancelling people's paper or even holding it ain't cool.

Am totally shocked with wards BECE results. She performed soo well in school. She had sleepless nights preparing for her exams. She never used apor because as a mother l believe in hard work. As a teacher l discussed the papers with her after the exams and was certain she will do well. The results came it was the worse result she had ever gotten throughout her school years. A child whose grades has always been A's and b's now getting aggregate16. I cried together with her because waec is in effect saying hardwork doesn't pay. Am applying for a remarking of all her scripts. I am soo angry right now. It's as if her script was not marked and grades were just given. The most annoying part is her getting grade 5 in career technology, R.M.E and asante twi. I am soo pissed right now.
