  Generally i think we Ghanaians are stupid people. We keep promoting negative things about ourselves to the outside world. Currently it seems all stolen cars find their way to only Ghana. This is highly debatable. This sex for fish thing as worrying as it may be is not what majority of Ghanaians do so why act like its the norm everywhere? People believe what you project about yourself. No wonder Ghana is part of the 10 countries with lowest IQ in the world.

  These people must stop insulting us. My mother was a fish seller for 51 years and never had a fisherman as the lover.
  It is not because fishermen are not human beings to be loved, but just because she and other women who go to Otekporlu to buy and sell fish were not interested to have a fisherman as a husband.
  We must stop the habit of cutting our nose, make our faces ugly to entertain others.
  These articles are insults to those of us whose mothers were fish sellers and those still selling fish.

  This is no story. What about the boys who are of the same age? This is not about sex ans fish, it happens all over the country in different communities.
  
  There are no jobs in certain communities and poverty is rife there which government is aware.
  
  It is time to team up with the chiefs and local government to support such children who through no fault of theirs end up in such dehumanizing situation.
