Government should find a way to preserve and honor our traditions nationwide while also ensuring clarity, consistency, and practicality. That balance — respect for heritage alongside clear governance is what will keep us united and moving forward.

I believe the Council should invite the Lumba family and explain the significance of the festival to them. I don’t think the Lumba family will go against the wishes of the Council at all.

I hate unnecessary noise, but let’s be honest: when chiefs start slapping bans here and there, it is not culture—it is backwardness. Culture is supposed to evolve, to attract wealth and global recognition, not to block progress.
