Discipline is the key and necessary ingredient to make a lasting impact on the people. Any shrewd politician would have done that and so a third term for him may not be necessary. We're still waiting for prosecution of all the allegations of fraud and looting that went on in Akufo's administration. Under the same constitution, Kufour set up Fast track courts to prosecute allegations of fraud. Akufo himself looked into Mahama's dealings hoping to find any fraud case. What is Mahama doing...wraps himself into this so called Father for all thing. We knew this approach will not work again

Constitution is just a guide and as time/society changes some parts can be amended to conform to what must take place. How many times have America, the model of Democracy, made amendments to its Constitution. Take a cue from even the New Testament which is amendment to the Old Testament...same gospel of the Supreme God. Did President Rawlings try to go for a third term? the answer is no, how about President Kufuor, the answer here is no. Then came Akufo Addo who came after President Mahama after his first term. He also did not show any sign of having a go at a third term, so why is Mr. Kwesi Pratt praising Prez Mahama to the hilt as if he is about to do something no other president has done in all the Republic Ghana has had apart from President Nkrumah of the first republic who even amended the first republican constitution through the one-sided parliament to enable him become the President of Ghana foe life.
