  I sincerely hope government appointees from the President to Deputy Ministers will also cut their allowances and make it public. Because I feel players of the Black Stats are doing more for Ghanaians, than our politicians.It is no secret that, anytime the Black Stars wins a game, most Ghanaians are happy and for a moment forget the hardships our politicians are putting us through. So if the politicians think they should reduce the allowances for these hardworking Ghanaians, who are not just making citizens happy for some moment, but, are putting Ghana’s name on the sports World Map. It is not that, some of these boys need the allowances they are getting, because they are earning enough from their various clubs, but, it is only fair for the Nation to reward them for what they are doing for the Nation. If politicians who are always taking bad decisions for the people of this Country to suffer the way we are suffering in this Country, are taking huge amounts of money for any silly decisions, why should we cut their bonus of our hardworking footballers who are entertaining the whole Country?By the way, why does this government wants to politicize everything in this Country? Please leave these boys alone. They are doing a great job for the Nation.

  Hon.Kofi Adams,stop the propaganda nonsense and do the needful,the national football teams are going nowhere because of the FA and its Exco, the BS could not qualify for Afcon and for a country like Ghana that was unforgivable and yet the FA and coach are still where they are without let or hindrance,what has changed from the previous minister to this one? Egyptian Sports Minister and FA and its Exco resigned en mass when the Pharaoh’s failed to qualify for an Afcon,are we not all African countries? Can’t we learn? If the FA will not leave willingly and honourably, what should a Minister do?
