That would be waste of resources and time. The chieftaincy institution has become and extension of politics that the NPP and NDC have used to advance their political goals. This was accentuated by former President Akufo Addo who sought to elevate certain chiefs to become shadow government officials. And now almost every chief wants to be called King because of a precedent that has been set.

John Mahama created all the current chieftaincy disputes in the northern part of the country. He should stop them now and stop the tricks of trying to bring innocent people into this. He went to Bawku and told the Kusasis that if he won the presidency, he would create a separate region for them. He also said it's only when NPP was in power that the Bawku conflict flared up, and he would ensure that it ended immediately he regained power to run the country. During the eight years of Akufo Addo's administration, fifty people lost their lives to the conflict. Eight months into Mahama's administration, almost four hundred people have lost their lives in the Bawku conflict. Now Sawla and Bole are both on fire and over one hundred people have lost their lives. Gongas are killing their fellow Ghanaians without any hindrance because their kingsman is in authority. We shouldn't waste any state funds in this useless exercise. this is a way of stealing our money. God is watching.

Mr. Minister please set up an independent committee that’s not from that area .. the Gbeneyir conflict has nothing to do with competition for chieftaincy titles .. it’s simply due to one major tribe abusing a smaller tribe because they consider them inferior and not Ghanaians . Northerners complain about southerners discriminating against us but we have some of the most tribalistic groups in the world . In Savannah region , the gonjas have no regard for other tribes,, especially the Lobi people. It’s about time the constitution of the republic works for everyone and not just the few whose tribe men are in the upper echelons of power .

My college staff who understand their language explained one audio made by a gonja and a gonja was saying the other tribe was refusing to allow them catch their animals for rituals. You cant rear? Who does that? What kind of oppression is that in this 21st century? I learned they went to villages that were not even aware of the conflict and started shooting and killing. Killing unarmed innocent people who had no idea of what was happening doesn't make you a warrior. A warrior is one who faces and defeats an armed opponent. Are your ancestors hungry for blood of innocent people? God will speak for the innocent people killed. Then He is not the creator of that land.
The laws should work to give liberation to the oppressed. Ghana as a beacon of peace is losing that value simply because of l am a land owner and someone is a settler. Meanwhile we can't creat an ant
