The consequence of not having dogs in your town or village leads to promiscuity. Bad boys take advantage of the environment to impregnate innocent girls. I know of a Ga village with that problem.

Aduamoah in Kwahu also forbids dogs. Dog poo is a taboo to their deity so NO dogs are allowed in the town.

Dogs are not forbidden in the northern towns in Ghana but are rather roasted and eaten as usual.
Dogs are forbidden at Alakpe too. Alakple is in the southern part of the Volta region.
Twenedurase Kwahu also forbids dogs. Whoever wrote this article is a lazy journalist who refused to do his homework well.
