Is Ghana worth dying for? No. Why do we do this ourselves? Why should a nurse/midwife go through such struggle and no one is talking about it but let the nurse/midwife falters, then bombardments will come from all angles. Where is the motivation that drive a worker to go extra mile? After graduation, a nurse/midwife completes a mandatory 1 year national service and stays at home 3 to 5 years. All in the name of waiting for financial clearance and when it finally comes, searching for accommodation is another huddle to clear to start work. Some go for a loan to rent a room with anticipation that once job is secured she would be able to pay the loan but hey, salary doesn't come 3, 6, 8 months or more and salaries are in arrears. The people you are serving care less but if a mistake is made, the poor nurse/midwife is taken on squarely. How can one be productive in such mental instability? So those who are working without pay and those idling at home waiting to be posted, which one is fine? May I know when new gov't, MPs and all gov't appointees start receiving salaries? In this economic hardships paa eii hmm.

NDC is a SCAM PARTY but people don’t listen especially the NURSES.John Mahama and his NDC Party refused to pay teachers and Nurses salaries for more than a year and managed to pay them four or five months salary out of a whole year and after eight years they campaigned against NPP who has been paying their salaries every month and they said they are not good so to me personally I don’t have any sympathy for them because they are STUPID FOOLS.
