The problem with the Black Stars has always been the same for a long time. The team has no clinical finisher. They play solid as a team but no one to take control and score. Since Asamoa Gyan left the scene, the team has been wasteful upfront. The last World Cup and the subsequent friendly matches followed the same pattern, unable to score even against weaker teams. Goal scoring is the area we must tackle as a matter of urgency, if we hope to make any meaningful impact on the next World Cup.
