First there is a proposed merger between AT and Telecel formerly Vodafone.
With the mention of Rektron, what happens with the proposed merger?
Will it be a joint venture between the 3 parties ie GoG, Telecel Ghana and Rektron or this will basically mean Rektron takes the 60% ownership of AT Ghana while GoG takes 40%?

What procurement process preceded the handover of this national asset to a Candian firm that has no expertise or experience in telecom? Also, isn't it curious that Sam George keeps talking about AT's supposed $150 million debt and then suddenly some Canadian Father Christmas scoops in with exactly that amount to rescue AT - for a 60% share? If this had happened in the previous administration, Ablakwa and and Sam George himself would be running exposes on corrupt procurement for months. By the way, where are all the vigilante civil society igroups?
