  Mahama, that does not mean there is no mining going on in the nation's forest reserves. In fact, that makes it illegal. So yes, maybe you have not issued any license, but as people have been saying, there are mining going on ...

  Forest reserves and mining are mutually exclusive and diametrically opposed concepts!! It should be anathema that these two be a part of or proposed together in any conversation.

  You were right when you batardised the NPP government for allowing for exploration in our forest reserves and promised to ban that as soon as you are sworn in as a President of Ghana. You are wasting much time in implementing that promise. As you rightfully said; "in politics you mix lies with the truth." Very soon Ghanaians in rural areas will be drinking poison. The problem with most African countries is leadership.
