Children of today, she doesn't understand why the father is so concerned about how she conducts her life. That is why I say when kids especially girls reach adolescence parents must win their trust and must get to know their friends. Your children must trust you to the point they must be able to discuss everything with you the parent. They must seek advice from you the parents and not from friends. Is it so difficult for parents to do this? The world of today is such a complex one for our kids. I always say the severe strictness of parents of yesteryears is not too relevant today. There must be some balance in applying the rod. Let your kid be your best friend. May she rest in peace. The father will definitely need someone counselling.
