  Really good suggestion. Ghana has the expertise and some of them are even working in Australia.
  Ghana has still a lot of expertise from Tarkwa school of mines in Ghana.

  Ghanaians owned mines will definitely be a game changer.
  After that we should also look at creating value added industries. This will create lots of jobs and bring more income into the country.
  Hopefully we can then stop our dependence on IMF and the World Bank.

  Another way of collapsing the mining industry by way given to the so called local content, salaries are going to be lower and delayed to one year and over, not paying snnit and pf and lastly no adequate training for workers.

  Let's rewind to the era of State Gold Mining corporation. For lack of proper management ' the state managed entities under the so called State Gold mining corporation collapsed.
  The assets were sold to now Goldfields Ghana who are currently manging the State owned entities and are making profits.
