Ghana needs proper Education Reform to address all these problems. Kids in this country write too many EXTERNAL exams,thus exposing them to malpractices. BECE & WASSCE shd be merged, and University Entry Exams introduced to replace it.Yes it will be a huge cost that will take a lot of resources to do,bcoz it also will then mean combining Primary, JHS & SHS.Boarding housing will then be taken out of the equation, allowing parents and the nation to save resources there.The youth can get adequate time to study and prepare well for University Entry Exams when they are in their adulthood possibly at 18yrs or after.

The problem is now usually with the students who now become addicted to internet Computer and Sex games. They don’t study as we used to do when we were in school. With so many Cellphones and computer games, students are now interested in playing Sex Games and chatting. It is not easy to control students these days because of the too much freedom they enjoy on the internet.
Also some of the questions are smuggled right from the offices of WAEC. Our system for WAEC Is now too corrupt because some employees of WAEC secretly steal exam questions and sell them to students and some teachers help smuggle solved questions to students. We definitely need strong reforms and punishments for those who engage in our exams, even if it means some people, including teachers, students, and WAEC officials getting sent to jail. Exam malpractice was not common when we were in school. Let some people do some jail time and it can reduce and stop this problem.
