  This man is a sellout, that's why he opposes scrapping the stability agreement. The stability agreement has kept our natural resources in the hands of foreign interests for far too long. Our incompetent leaders accept long-term mining agreements that are not in Ghana's interest.
  We must be able to review and vary agreements to benefit the nation. Consider the recent lithium agreement between Ghana and Atlantic Lithium. According to Atlantic Lithium's literature, the payback period for their investment is 17 months, less than 2 year.
  Why should Ghana continue to have the meagre 13% carry interest or so, after the mining company has recouped its investment? The Stability agreement prevents Ghana from changing the terms to get more equity or carry interest.
  Any serious country will demand 50/50 share after the investors have recouped their initial capital. The stability agreement is used to tie the hands of a competent government from varying the agreement.
  
  When will Toni Aubynn stop speaking for mining companies and speak for his country, Ghana?
