Yet in another, she again in the same paragraph said, the process lacked procedural clarity. If that constituted a lacuna as far as article 146 is concerned, she being a lawyer but blowing hot air should've raised it. This is clearly a political goon playing an emotional card which doesn't add up in the face of any sound reasoning.

Since when has applying the law been judged on the basis of fairness? Should the application of the law not be judged on its constitutionality? You admit that the process was constitutional, and then turn around to say it was sketchy and unfair. GBA has been silent on other occasions, so it makes it difficult for us to accept that their comments are based on goodwill and not on partisan affiliation. Please be honest with yourselves and be even-handed in your assessment of events. When you advise the mouse, also advise the cheese. And strange that such protests often arise only when the NDC is in power. So much that was wrong went on under the previous government, but GBA was strangely silent. Hmm.

There's yet to be a convincing argument as to what is wrong with the process or the removal of Getrude Araba Esaaba Sackey Torkonoo; none whatsoever.

There were justices removed from office during the 8-year Akufo-Addo/Dr. Bawumia NPP majority administrations that followed prescribed Article 146 procedures and chaired by CJ's or other senior Justices. Can any member of GBA that is now bemoaning the removal of Getrude Torkornoo explain why it was okay to remove other judges from post by committees chaired by a CJ or senior judges but run afoul of the law now?

So if administratively, a CJ must and can supervise the removal of other judges then are the GBA member majority requesting that the CJ administratively supervise the committee that sits to discipline the CJ? If not then what were the Torkornoo fanatics looking forward to as a fair process? Why would a bunch of presumed educated people not see the flaws in Article 146-6 through 10 until now?

Neither the ignorance of Gertrude Torkornoo nor the GBA majority dinwits is reason enough; ignorance of the law cannot be a legitimate excuse.

This sad, brainwashed, pre-programmed tide of abuse of Efua Ghartey will not dilute the strength of her argument.
The "removal" of Chief Justice Torkornoo stemmed from purely political reasons, not matters of fact or evidence. The people in charge of the process of sacking her struggled to follow any constitutional procedure, not just because it relied on laws rarely used, but because they were falling over themselves to settle scores with the Chief Justice and do their master's bidding at the same time.
So they got the procedure wrong time after time, and were only called to order by the woman they were accusing and determined to lock up.
In the light of the procedural bungling and the glaring lack of any strong evidence against Gertrude Torkornoo, it is clear that the process of removing her was UNFAIR. It remains UNFAIR, even if her accusers and executioners now go around waving the Constitution and claiming that they followed the law.
If you won't even tell an employee going through a disciplinary procedure what the accusation against them is, except under duress, no one can claim you are following the rules or the law, in ANY shape or form.
