I know this place very well. I am very adventurous and a well travelled person. Going to that area is no joke. It is extremely dangerous when one gets there and it rains. I am putting this up because I want to help the people who travel that road through AKWASIHO and parts of the Afram Plains.
There is a reasonably easier way to get there. That road is through Begoro. At Begoro, one can continue to drive uphill to AKWASIHO and one can turn left to Kwahu and descend to Nkawkaw. One can also turn right at AKWASIHO and that road can take you to Afram Plains. The only advice is just drive slowly and carefully because the road can be slippery and dangerous.

If Citizens pay taxes and the Government is in charge of Forests and other Natural Resources, then the onus rests on the Government to be responsible on taking care of all businesses. The Citizens may help but that should be voluntary. To the Government, it should be obligatory.

That area is a very much neglected place There is nothing good to write about the Educational Institutions there. Students there still go to school under trees and sheds. The Teaching Learning Materials there seems to belong to the Stone Age. There is not a single good Community Clinic. Transportation over there cannot be counted on except on Market Days. People walk many Kilometers to get to their destinations except on Market Days. The people desperately need help in many spheres.

Regardless of his motives, Sarpong should be commended for spending heavily to construct that road which undoubtedly is making lives for many in the area much easier. Hopefully, what he has done for the community will encourage others across Ghana with sufficient resources to engage in similar philanthropic endeavours. I know this is an old article, but it's a story worth repeating many times over since it can serve as an inspiration to others. Great job.
