  The machines are for the Assembles and they must decide what to do with it. Central Accra does not need any road reshaping. Their problem is filth,, so what is wrong with the machine being used to evacuate filth.

  NDC always comes to destroy and feed off the good works and reserves created by NPP. Why will they complain about the good intentions behind the purchase of such machines and start using them for nonsense. Yes, Accra has a filth problem but such machines are not meant for that kind of job. Think of maintenance and other running costs. Don’t they read and follow handing over notes? Asem Ben koraa nie. All the machines will be destroyed in no time. Yooooo yati. We all dey for Ghana. Destruction is the hobby of NDC and its leaders.

  Sometimes I wonder how our so-called leaders think. The DRIP machines are meant for the District, so is he suggesting that in case of a flood, the machines cannot be used to protect lives and property? The mindset here seems incredibly misguided. How can you justify taking the machines away from the District just because they are being used in a way that you disapprove of? Is the machine not functioning in the District? There are some districts that currently do not have any road projects; why can't they use these machines to support other activities and projects? It's really frustrating. As long as the machines are used in the District to support development, they should be allowed to be utilized. Even private sector entities could rent them if needed.

  Why create a National Secretariat for DRIP Equipment at a time you are giving MMDAs more decision making powers. The guidelines should be enough. The monitoring of use should be left for the local citizens and the police.
