My big worry is that we have regions like Ashanti and Eastern Region where the Chiefs are so powerful and even go to disstool other chiefs who misbehave but we have not heard them complain about any galamsey issue in their communities and regions by taking drastic measures.

Criminal charges were brought against Atronsu activists protecting their landscape and the Atronsu Stream, the only source of drinking water when 2 excavators were burnt. The activists deny burning the excavators but they spent 4 nights in custody and are currently on bail.

We must also engage the US and Isreal security agencies to deploy same Thermal drones to laser point any individual Minning which is vey painful it can take the person about a year to recover from pain. Just to discourage people and stop it. We are in crisis, There is a sharp increase in metal poisoning across the country. The chemical used in treating the water is also not good. We are in trouble ooooo .A Chinese friend told me they have regrated introducing chamfer machine to Ghana because it will gradually decline the population.
