  Crisis everywhere! In the previous administration this confusion about placement of students in SHS was made smooth.Now look out how people put in charge there are struggling. Incompetence everywhere.

  Just ignore them, if they want change of school for their wards then they must send them to private schools period, Some ghanaians think that they must always be given preferential treatment, this is nt the gov of npp,

  @ Kulbogo, the problem is that they have brought in numerous private schools belonging to NDC nincompoops and they have deliberately assigned students to these schools hence this chaos. The free SHS was introduced by the NPP ...

The free SHS was introduced by the NPP and such incompetence was never experienced. Mahama is hopelessly hopeless.

  Why can't the placement system be "reverted" to the good 'old system, where students apply to schools and be admitted or rejected based on the student's grades? As I read the complaints by the majority of the parents, "they were not talking about their children's grades, but rather the schools they've been sent to". I THINK THE PLACEMENT SYATEM RELIES HEAVILY ON GRADES & LOCATIONS--schools closer to where the students live or come from and here "distance".

  2. Withdraw or cancel all placements where parents are dissatisfied and allow them to do self placements in schools with vacancies;
  3. Take (or implement) clinical remediation interventions in the schools seriously, especially in the category B and C schools;
  4. Improve teaching and learning, and other supplementary facilities in the category B and C schools; and
  5. Consciously and or deliberately create additional category A schools across the 16 regions.

  7. Introduce a conspicuous counting system or counter on the computerised schools selection platform or App to count and assign a serial/sequential number to every applicant of a school. E.g., you are the ... nth applicant to this school as against x number of vacancies, after selecting a school. For the enhancement of transparency, probity and accountability of the selection process.
