Does this bring food to our table? What are the relevance of our chiefs if they cannot whip the government making the people poor? When they cannot as custodians of the lands and indeed the natural resources can't stop the greedy politicians giving them out free to foreigners and pocketing the profits making the people impoverished and vulnerable? Gone were the days when we respected our chiefs more than the politicians but now we have stomach traditional leaders. The chieftaincy institutions became corrupt when the educated fools started ascending thrones of traditional areas.

Ask your self this question, why did the Dormaa who killed Obiri yeboah and claimed to have defeated the Asantes rather run away from their place of abode which was suntresso few minutes drive from Okomfo Annokye teaching hospital, and settled in far away Gyaman in ivory coast and allow the Asantes to incorporate their towns as part of Asante empire at the time. I know in war once your king or chief is killed you are defeated and your conqueror will rule you. This time the so called conqueror, the Dormaa rather flew from their towns with this victory and left their properties behind to live in another place called Gyaman and allowed the Asantes to take most of their towns in Bono and Ahafo as part of Asantes. Does this make sense to you who believe in Agyemang Badu. If he really defeated the Asantes , they should have taken Kumasi towns and incorporated them as part of Bono at the time. Someone from Agyemang Badu house should explain this to me
